Turnitin Service Issues – Sept. 17, 2018

Turnitin began experiencing service issues at approximately 1am. The underlying problem has been identified and a fix has been implemented. Paper submissions are working, they are just happening slowly, and the situation will improve over time.

Box Ending Support for iOS 10

Upon the release of iOS 12 (scheduled for Fall 2018), Box will no longer continue support for iOS 10. The iOS devices which will no longer be supported (because they do not support upgrading to iOS versions newer than iOS 10) are: iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPad 4th generation.

Update Your Box Apps

Box is ending support for older versions of its apps as of November 12, 2018, due to security improvements. Box end users will need to update their apps (Box Sync, Box Drive & Box Edit) prior to that date to continue using them.

Clicker Registration and Chrome

There is a known issue where Google Chrome is not opening the clicker registration page when clicking the registration link in Blackboard. Students will need to use another browser until this issue is resolved.

TurningTechnologies Unavailable – August 4

TurningTechnologies will be performing maintenance on the TurningPoint server starting on Saturday, August 4 at 10:30 p.m. The maintenance is expected to last about one hour. During this time, you will not be able to access your TurningPoint account or any of the TurningTechnologies applications.

Tegrity Login Issue – August 1, 2018

Login via ua.tegrity.com and through the Tegrity recorder application is currently unavailable.  Users can still access Tegrity through the “Tegrity Classes” button in their Blackboard courses.  This issue is also affecting several other institutions.  Tegrity’s engineers are investigating the problem.
