Box will be performing an update to the Box Drive for Windows application beginning June 19. Box Drive users should accept the Box Drive upgrade when prompted to do so. We have just received notification that UA’s Blackboard system is down. We are engaging Blackboard Support about this issue.
Blackboard will generate an error if a file with an apostrophe in its filename is uploaded. The fix is to avoid using apostrophes in filenames.
There is a known issue that Collaborate users are unable to upload PowerPoint files in Collaborate on Mac OS High Sierra. More information can be found in this Blackboard article.
We are getting reports that the Blackboard course menu will disappear under certain circumstances. The fix is to log out of Blackboard, clear your browser’s cache, then restart the browser.
Users who attempt to upload .docx files to Blackboard using Safari report receiving an error message stating that the file can’t be uploaded. A Blackboard Support ticket about this issue is being created. The workaround is to use Chrome or Firefox to upload .docx files.
10:00 a.m. CDT – Some Collaborate users are experiencing connection timed out messages when attempting to join sessions. Users already connected to sessions should not be affected. Collaborate DevOps is working to investigate and resolve this issue
Some UA Blackboard users experienced a period of unavailability between 1:18 – 3:37 a.m. April 17. Blackboard technicians are investigating.
Safari version 11.1 released in early April may cause students and instructors to see a time out message when attempting to upload a file to Blackboard. Please use Firefox or Chrome browsers for file uploads.
