Turnitin service has been restored and appears to be operating normally.
Turnitin is currently experiencing a service disruption that may prevent instructors from commenting on student submissions.
Several users have reported that they were unable to upload submissions to Turnitin. In these instances, the upload process begins but a “successful submission” message is never displayed. To correct this, users should delete their browser history and cache.
Turnitin experienced service issues between 4:32pm – 5:09pm on September 27th. Those issues have been resolved and the system is currently functioning as expected.
Turnitin is currently experiencing a service disruption that is affecting all of their customers. Their engineering team is currently working to resolve the issue.
We are getting reports that instructors are getting sporadic error messages in Blackboard. Please take a screenshot or copy the text of the message and contact our office with these details.
We have discovered that UA’s Blackboard instance is affected by a known issue where some users see “Undefined00” in their grade center cells if they have their language pack set to the custom English language pack instead of the default.
Turnitin began experiencing service issues at approximately 1am. The underlying problem has been identified and a fix has been implemented. Paper submissions are working, they are just happening slowly, and the situation will improve over time.
Box is ending support for older versions of its apps as of November 12, 2018, due to security improvements. Box end users will need to update their apps (Box Sync, Box Drive & Box Edit) prior to that date to continue using them.
