Safari and .docx files

Users who attempt to upload .docx files to Blackboard using Safari report receiving an error message stating that the file can’t be uploaded. A Blackboard Support ticket about this issue is being created. The workaround is to use Chrome or Firefox to upload .docx files.

Collaborate – April 17

10:00 a.m. CDT – Some Collaborate users are experiencing connection timed out messages when attempting to join sessions. Users already connected to sessions should not be affected. Collaborate DevOps is  working to investigate and resolve this issue

3/28 Turnitin issue

Turnitin reported that users had difficulty viewing paper submissions from 7:45 AM to 11:55 AM on March 28.

Collaborate Outage – 4-5 a.m. 3/20

Blackboard engineers will be performing maintenance on the data center that hosts UA’s instance of Blackboard Collaborate between 4-5 a.m. CDT March 20. The Collaborate system will be unavailable during this time.
