Blackboard will be performing scheduled infrastructure maintenance on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 1:00 AM – 5:00 AM. Collaborate users may experience brief periods of intermittent availability during this time.

UA’s Blackboard Learn system will undergo mandatory security-related maintenance from Wednesday, August 7 at 8 p.m. until Friday August 9 at 5 p.m. Our Blackboard Learn servers will be unavailable during this maintenance period.

Many Blackboard customers, included UA, have been experiencing intermittent slowness issues since the morning of Wednesday, July 3rd. Blackboard is aware of the problem and they are working to correct the underlying issue.

Needs Grading has a new option for showing items that are not included in grading calculations, which is always unchecked by default. If the “Include in Grade Center grading calculations” setting is not selected for an assignment, test, or other Grade Center column, it will not display in Needs Grading without selecting this new option.…

Maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out on Sunday, June 30th, between 12am-7am CT. Please note that Tegrity will not be available between 12am-3am CT.

Turnitin will be performing updates and hardware improvements on July 13, 2019. This will result in service disruptions between 10am-4pm CST.

Many buttons do not function properly in the unsupported browser Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer. This includes submit buttons for assignments and toggle arrows when sending email.
