Issue
The order of students may be different in Blackboard than in myBama. We have seen reports that the alphabetization of students’ last names may vary. This could affect faculty and instructors that are manually assigning grades in myBama.
Example:
- In myBama, last names may show as “McDonald, McLeod, Mckinney”
- In Blackboard, last names may show as “McDonald, Mckinney, McLeod”
Solution/Workaround
Instructors and faculty should pay close attention to the order of students to ensure the correct grade is manually input into myBama.
