Sat., Jun 1, 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. OIT will be doing an update to myBama. Blackboard Learn users will need to log into Blackboard via the direct URL, ualearn.blackboard.com, during this update window.

Blackboard Learn will be unavailable due to a scheduled upgrade beginning Wednesday, May 8 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, May 10 at 12:00 p.m.

Blackboard, Inc. has discontinued the Blackboard Grader mobile app effective March 29, 2019. The app has been removed from app stores and support has ceased. Users with instructor roles should download Blackboard Instructor as a replacement.

Tegrity engineers will be performing maintenance on their servers on March 31 from 12:00 a.m. to 7 a.m. CDT. There will be a 3-hour downtime window from 12:00 a.m to 3 a.m. CDT.

McGraw Hill has announced that they are discontinuing their Tegrity lecture capture product effective June 30, 2020. On Friday, February 8, 2019 between the hours of 1 AM – 5:00 AM CST, Blackboard will be performing maintenance on the data center that hosts UA’s Blackboard system. Blackboard, Inc. has end-of-lifed its Blackboard Instant Messenger application effective December 31, 2018. Although there is not an exact replacement for Blackboard IM, Zoom is a tool that may be of interest to you. You can find more information on Zoom at https://oit.ua.edu/software/zoom/.
