Panopto Support identified the source of the increased error rates and issued a fix. All UA users should now have access to Panopto via links in Blackboard and logging in at the direct URL.

Update

Panopto Support reports that all Panopto Cloud environments are experiencing an issue launching from the LTI. This means that users have an issue accessing Panopto through an integration link, like the one UA uses to connect Blackboard to Panopto.

Panopto Support is still investigating the issue. We will post more information as soon as we can.


Issue

Users are receiving an error message when attempting to login to Panopto. The error message reads “We’re currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please bear with us while we tune our satellites. Sorry for the inconvenience. HTTP 500: Internal Server Error. There was an internal server error.”

Solution

CIT has contacted Panopto Support to make them aware of the issue. We will update this post with any new information.
