Known Issue – Blackboard Ally processing delays 03-30

Update

04/13/26: Blackboard Ally has processed the majority of the backlog which should decrease the delays for course syncs & copy processes. Blackboard Support is monitoring this issue and will continue to provide updates.

Issue

Faculty may experience intermittent delays in the Ally processing of content added to Blackboard. This means that new content added to Blackboard may be delayed in receiving an accessibility score and a delay in the presence of accessible alternative formats.

Real time processing delays of approximately 1.5 hours for new content items may be seen during this time.

Note: Previously processed content items should still be showing the Ally alternative formats, instructor feedback and institutional accessibility report as expected.
