Update Your Bookmarks & Clear Your Cache
Monday, September 14, 2026, the University of Alabama will move to Okta single sign-on and Okta Verify two-factor authentication.
As behind-the-scenes changes are being implemented ahead of this date, CIT recommends:
- Review and update any browser bookmarks used to access Blackboard – If you bookmarked the link to Blackboard from within myBama, it could be incorrect. The direct URL is https://ualearn.blackboard.com.
- If you receive an error message when logging in to Blackboard – Users that receive a “RuntimeException” error message when accessing Blackboard need to clear their browser cache and try to access Blackboard again.
