Update
Blackboard’s next update has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 8, 2026. The update includes a new Gradebook interface, a new Groups interface for instructors, and new capabilities in the Course Content area. These new features are highlighted in a previous CIT News update.

CIT has updated how-to guides in the Instructional Technology Knowledge Base and updated video tutorials in the CIT Video Library. If you have any questions, please contact us for more information.
Issue
Blackboard is delaying the release of new features for August 2026. Originally scheduled for August 6, the August Blackboard release includes new, exciting features for the grade book, groups, and the content area. These new features are highlighted in a previous CIT News update.
